Biography

I am an Assistant Professor at CMKL University, teaching courses in Symbolic AI and Image and Video Processing. My research interests lie in medical image processing and computer vision, with a focus on developing innovative solutions that bridge the gap between academia and real-world applications.

I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science in May 2018 from IUPUI where I was privileged to be advised by Gavriil Tsechpenakis. My PhD thesis is about the neuron morphology analysis including reconstruction, centerline extraction, segmentation, and multi-modal comparison.

Before I went to IUPUI, I finished my undergrad at the University of Edinburgh. My 4th year project was about the analysis of salt intake effect on cardiovascular system using Hidden Markov Model. It was my priviledged to be advised by Guido Sanguinetti.
