I am an Assistant Professor at CMKL University, teaching courses in Symbolic AI and Image and Video Processing. My research interests lie in medical image processing and computer vision, with a focus on developing innovative solutions that bridge the gap between academia and real-world applications.
I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science in May 2018 from IUPUI where I was privileged to be advised by Gavriil Tsechpenakis. My PhD thesis is about the neuron morphology analysis including reconstruction, centerline extraction, segmentation, and multi-modal comparison.
Before I went to IUPUI, I finished my undergrad at the University of Edinburgh. My 4th year project was about the analysis of salt intake effect on cardiovascular system using Hidden Markov Model. It was my priviledged to be advised by Guido Sanguinetti.

Summer Internship
The I2R Project aims to parse Thai sentences following the I2R pattern by chunking Thai sentences using the SVM. This involved conducting further research, and giving a presentation on the experiment to other researchers.
This worldwide challenge is organized by Roche, a multinational healthcare company, and more than 140 teams were registered. It composes of two rounds --- coding challenge and idea pitching to the real-life business case.
I was a mentor for high school students from local colleges. My responsibility included guiding them through the research, and teaching programming skills.
The scholarship from Thai Government for the outstanding result in the Olympiad in Informatics training camps that covers the tuition fees until I finished PhD.
