Biography

I am an assistant professor at Thammasat University, Thailand. I teach at the data science and innovation programme.

I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science in May 2018 from IUPUI where I was privileged to be advised by Gavriil Tsechpenakis. My PhD thesis is about the neuron morphology analysis including reconstruction, centerline extraction, segmentation, and multi-modal comparison. Go to VITAL website for more details.

Before I went to IUPUI, I finished by undergrad at the University of Edinburgh. My 4th year project was about the analysis of salt intake effect on cardiovascular system using Hidden Markov Model. It was my priviledged to be advised by Guido Sanguinetti.

My research interests are in biomedical imaging, computer vision, and machine learning.

Summer Internship

The I2R Project aims to parse Thai sentences following the I2R pattern by chunking Thai sentences using the SVM. This involved conducting further research, and giving a presentation on the experiment to other researchers.
